@maleve @pluralistic It sounds like you would also enjoy the more broadly applicable Chokepoint Capitalism (2022) by Rebecca Giblin and Cory. Comcom is proposed by both Internet Con (Ch.6) and Chokepoint (Ch.16) but the latter does so after discussing chokepoints in books, news, music, streaming, and other creative markets. Internet Con notably lacks citations.
