My goal was to try and tame my list of in progress #kdramas. Instead, I have been mainlining #wordofhonor , a #cdrama that I clicked on out of curiosity, and now can't stop watching because the story has caught my interest big time.
I have no idea how my lists get unmanageable. None at all. Nope. My discipline and focus are...

@hanktank61 I just started this series over the weekend. Disney Plus has been releasing a lot of great #kdramas. I'm done with EP3, I love the storytelling and details, lighting and colour grading, suspense, cast... It's been good so far.

A remake/spinoff is in the works with Kang Full. He is the genius behind the webcomics & award-wining #kdramas Moving, Lightshop & The Witch (streaming now on Viki).
@konosocio @kdramarama I was just watching a couple of #KDramas over the last week that made me laugh at how long the frequent ML shower scenes were, thinking about the staggering waste of water involved. Twelve years of watching #KDramas from the last 20 years and while many things have changed, it seems the need to show the ML in the shower has not. 
My other half is a big fan of #KDramas, and as such I usually only catch bits and pieces of the shows while she’s watching TV and I’m scrolling Mastodon. I typically don’t pay much attention but she was just watching this show “Move to Heaven” about a fellow on the #ASD spectrum who works at cleaning up residences after people of have died (Move to Heaven is the name of the company). It was pretty great.
Partner and I are using the second snowstorm of the week to close off a couple #kdramas. We just finished #TraumaCode which excellent. Now for the final episode of #StrongWomanDoBongSoon.
When I first watched CRASH LANDING ON YOU I was new to #kdramas and #kdrama archetypes and tropes. I also didn’t know the language at all.
I recently started rewatching CLOY and now that I am more familiar with Kdramas and a bit more familiar with the Korean language it’s even funnier. Like, it’s a lot funnier if you recognize the words “dongmu” and “dongji” (comrade/comrades) and notice when it’s used.
As my spouse and I work our way through our list of KDramas, we've had fun watching (sometimes struggling to understand) the English speaking scenes. But Kim Ji-won's performance in Queen of Tears has been impressive. Crystal clear, way to go!
It's interesting how in previous shows, actors will memorize English lines. They're technically correct, but stress the wrong syllables making it difficult to understand. That's probably how my Korean might sound to them.
In other news, still no American actors that are really American. It'll happen!
I'm watching this already anticipating I'll make a post on my professional psychology Instagram acc about it hehehe

@altbot Even the actresses involved were blindsided because the production team essentially deepfaked them! They used body doubles and put the actresses’ faces on with CGI.
This is gross and I hope the actresses/their agencies bring a lawsuit over it, because it probably violates their contracts with the production company (at the very least).

A controversial nude scene in #TheQueenWhoCrowns #kdrama seems to have caught the network and even the director by surprise. The scene is in the steaming version of the drama but not the broadcast version due to age restrictions. It wasn’t supposed to be in either!
Season 2 of THE FIERY PRIEST isn’t so bad that I dropped it, but if you enjoyed the first season…I think you can skip this one.
They seem to have lost their way with the higher production values.
I am thinking of watching CRASH LANDING ON YOU again because when I first watched it, I couldn’t tell when someone was speaking a Korean dialect (as opposed to the “default” Seoul dialect). But now I can tell when someone’s speaking in what’s supposed to be a Busan accent vs. a Jeolla province accent, etc. So I may be able to actually notice the North Korean dialect this time.
There’s a second season of THE FIERY PRIEST and I have to watch it because Honey Lee is in it but I have not watched the first season yet so I need to do that first.
There are lots of great things about JEONGNYEON: THE STAR IS BORN and one of them is all the intense Sapphic energy it puts out LOL

The chairman’s wife/landlady in #AVirtuousBusiness is such a perfect petty antagonist, and also a walking early 90s fashion crime. A very *expensive* fashion crime.
Re-watching DALI AND THE COCKY PRINCE, with its absolutely perfect script, slick editing, and Kim Min-jae being a himbo.
It’s also one of the greatest meditations on art and social class that I’ve ever seen.
